I bought a pair of Kifundo MBT shoes a few months ago for camino in Sept. After moderate walking the soles have lost most of their tread. They will definitely not last the whole 800km !! Very dissapointing
I am also walking in September - starting SJDP on 8th. Hope it has calmed down a bit. If you look on 'Pilgrims to Santiago' website, their statistics show that out of 28,000 pilrims arriving in Santiago in May less than 10% stated in SJDP, more than 20% started in Sarria.
Geradine, I am also starting from SJDP in September, and have stopped agonising over the posibility of overcrowding. What will be will be. I am going to turn up on 8th Sept and will start walking the next day.
