Why in the world would you sleep in albergues without wearing earplugs??? Seems like the most polite way to take care of your own needs without being annoying to others.
It's been my experience that the Way is not a place but is walking, opening to the new around each bend, being and not looking back. I believe it can be done wherever I am; if only I have strength to do it. Your poem is a much better way of saying this
In walking CF in 2019 I was, as always, very interested in the agriculture. The huge old grape vines with no visible trellising were not familiar to me and I've googled this with no result. Can anyone tell me the details of growing these vines? Thank you!
I am so relieved to hear the fire was that long ago; Muxia was perfect ending for me in in 2019 and the church with all its hanging ships was reminiscent of the fishing town of Stonington Maine I remember from my youth
The gift that now often comes to mind was from two Ukrainian girls in Santiago's bus station in 2019. They came up, introduced themselves, and gave me a beautiful hand-painted wood egg with their bright smiles, for America. They're much on my mind now
