I did the Portugues in the spring of 2019 from Lisbon. It is a very flat and as I stayed on the coast, beautiful. I would recommend it as a first camino not only for its beauty but is less crowded, well marked with ample services and accommodations.
The inner plastic connectors of the Black Diamond FLZ poles can and do break, as it did for me on the Norte. They are great poles that have served me well but you should be aware that it is inherent in the design.
I just finished the Camino Português coastal route with them. No blisters, no soreness. I then went to southern Spain and hiked a section of the Camino Mozárabe into Granada and climbed Pico Mijas. They were great in the steep and rocky terrain. I highly recommend this shoe for the Camino.
Greetings!
I just finished walking the Camino Portugués por coastal from Lisbon and am going to Malaga with the hope of walking several stages while being based in Malaga.
Is it possible to bus back to Malaga after each stage and of course bussing back to the stage in the morning? Any logistics...
