I have long thick hair and haven't had any problem getting it to dry before bed, even in some of the winter-like weather we've been having. I'd worry more about getting your socks dry by morning... :D
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but several people have arrived at my albergue today needing to be treated for bedbugs/possible bedbugs. I'm at an albergue early stage in Galicia, so apparently they've hatched somewhere behind us.

I did let them get away with it, sadly. I had just watched pilgrim after pilgrim turned away and sent on to Sahagún, so I guess I was just grateful to have a bed. I'm not sure what I should do if it were to happen again.
