Hi! I may be as well. My daughter and I will be landing in Madrid on August 30 and not sure if we will be able to matriculate through spain to SJPDP in time to leave on August 31 or September 1. Either way we will start one of those days. We will be traveling to Finisterre in about 33 days...
I was perplexed about which route to take . I decided on going the Camino Frances in September and considering the Camino Norte in reverse from Compestella in October.
Flip flop Camino perhaps
I'm not carrying my zlite pad on the Camino , but since I'm following the Camino with going directly to Ireland to do the Irish Coast to coast hike, I will mail myself my pad to greet me in Compestella
Thank u for this. I have zero foreign language skills which I think might be typically american. I'd like to have a few key phrases down before I get to SJPDP
Sorry for the loss and thank u for sharing. I lost my brother 3 years ago and I quit my job and thru hiked the Appalachian Trail in the US and spread his ashes atop MT Katahdin at the finish. I saved a bit of his ashes for the Camino . Do you all think it's appropriate to use a bit of ashes...
I liked your video (although I was surprised it was miley Cyrus. ) your story is nice to read . I'm not surprised to hear about your injury, as over striding and going too fast can cause leg injuries most commonly shin splints which are the most painful to deal with.
Pack weight is a common...
Ed !
Seen u at WB as I'm a longtime member. This will be my first foray into European trekking after two Appalachian trail thru's and I'm pretty excited. Starting around the same time as you with my daughter.
