Sarria too busy?
My only Camino was 2023, end of May and into early June on the route you mention. I didn’t find it “crowded” at all, and had plenty of time for quiet contemplation. Should I spend a night in Madrid before heading to Sarria?
Don’t miss Madrid, even if only for a night! We took the train to Sarria, arriving late afternoon. It was perfect (you actually transfer to a bus toward the end). Highly recommend. Departs 1315, arrives 1753. Booked directly through Renfe.- Kathie63119
