Worried Newbie.

I walked in comfortable Blundstones ... My feet were dry and blister free. Dry and blister free works for me. Altho more shock absorption might be nicer. I thought scarp a were the boot but just not right for me. I only have a few weeks til I return to Camino as I only walked 550 km... Gotta...

Breaking in a new pair of shoes

Last year I walked in Blundstones and my feet were dry and blister free. Maybe not the best hiking boots and I did not see anyone else wearing them. So this year I bought a pair of hiking boots and I am not so sure I will take them. After a few km's my feet are hot and hurt. So I just might be...

Lighter windbreaker type coat vs. warmer goretex type coat

I found that I used walking sticks so ended up leaving my brella at an alberguie. Poncho was the way to go for me. Needed do keep my pack dry.
