I love spoonflower.com for any really special fabric patterns. If you go to the site & search for 'santiago compostela' you will see lots of great camino patterns (sample below)! I would choose one of the light cotton varieties or maybe the performance pique if you want something stretchier.

Top tips and gentle reminders

My best all-round travel tip (which I learned on my first camino) is to carry a BAR of laundry soap. This is a biggish bar of mild soap, often yellow, often mildly lemon-scented, that you can use as a laundry soap AND a bath soap. So no laundry powders or liquids to spill, no body wash. In...

Stylish hats anyone? Pics please!

Here's my hat. It's neither warm, practical, or waterproof but it *is* lucky. Mostly I hate wearing hats but somehow this fits my camino persona.
