Chaffing - what's the solution?

Thanks Martin. Yeah - I'm not overly concerned about weight - I will bring the bare minimum but I'm not going to go to ridiculous extremes. My 35l bag looks smaller and smaller everytime I go near it!

Thanks for the responses everyone. I went for the TF Gear that Sagalouts recommended above. Got them on Ebay - 3 pack for £9.99. For a reason I have yet to fathom they each come in there own individual little bag with draw-string. They'll have to go anyway if I'm to make that 10% weight limit...

Boot care

I closely examined my 6 year old leather boots a couple of weeks ago. To my horror a few stitches had broken near the front (where it bends with your toes when you step). I was in a pickle as I didn't want to have to "wear in" new boots before the start of my Camino (early Sept) and I didn't...

Can you recommend a good, light, inexpensive sleeping bag?

Thanks very much everyone for your helpful responses. In the end I went for the Lifeventure Sleeplight 750. It's 750g and packs away (in a compression bag thingy it comes with) to approx 10 inches by 6 inches (diameter). It was £36 at GoOutdoors in the UK...

Chaffing - what's the solution?

I've started doing some long walks in advance on my start at SJPdP in early September. About half way through a 15 mile walk (after stopping for lunch) I began to feel the effects of serious chaffing on my (upper) inner thighs. Very uncomfortable! The walk was in quite hot (for the UK) weather...
