I also highly recommend looking at smaller cottage industry gear companies. I have four Gossamer Gear packs (different sizes for different type trips) and love all of them. Rain jacket recommendations
On CF April-May '22 we had a LOT of rain the first 10 days. I used the Packa also and loved it. Worked perfect, especially when the rain was intermittent because you don't have to stop and take your pack on and off.- llospw
