    I used the Lowa Renegades and was very pleased with their performance. Out of the box ready, though I did change to Sole inner soles. These boots gave great ankle support and gripped well on tricky down hill treks. Oh, I never had a blister but I'm sure the Smartwool liners and socks helped...

    Lowa Renegades, used them with smartwool socks and liners. Also changed the factory inner sole to much better Sole inner soles and had no blisters. Loved the ankle support especially on the downhill treks. Used them on the Camino Frances last Oct. and will use them again this spring. Loved them...

    Deuter Back Packs

    I used the Deuter ACT-ZERO 50+15 this past Oct. on the CF and loved it. I understand we are not all built the same but this pack fit me like a glove and I became more comfortable with it than without it. I too saw more Deuters on the Camino than any others as has been mentioned before.
