HI there, sorry I just saw your message, thanks. No unfortunately you're the only one who replied. I must say I get so confused with all the many many threads under different caminos that I'm not sure which ones to reply to so that people see them. Maybe I'll start a new thread and see if I get...
Hi, does anyone know where I could get an updated albergue list for the Mozarabe from Malaga please? I'm thinking of going there next week to walk, if anyone has an thoughts on it please? Gronze doesn't seem to have any information, and nor does the wonderful Wisepilgrim, so any information...
Thanks very much very helpful, especially the one from the association. I've emailed them. It's difficult finding out what albergues are open at this time. Best wishes, P
Hello, does anyone know where I can find information about the Camino from Jaen please? I can't seem to find anything much, other than the stages listed on Gronze.
Is there a list of albergues available? What is it like, is it beautiful scenery?
Many thanks
Hello, I'm arriving in Malaga on Wednesday. I wonder if anyone could anyone please give me any information about the following:
Any ideas on bike hire in Malaga?
What it's like cycling the Mozarabe from Malaga to either Cordoba or Merida?
Is it possible to take bikes on buses or trains after...
That's good news, and will really help. Málaga - what a wonderful city, it's one of my favourites. Sadly, I didn't get too far on my walk - food poisoning at Antequera put a stop to things, but the walk until then was fantastic, I can't wait to continue it.
Thanks both of you, it sounds wonderful ... and Bradypus, I'm a Meseta lover too, it's partly why I love walking in the South of Spain, the wide open landscapes and colours are wonderful. I was looking at your blog earlier Magwood, it is great, and I have marked it out to read more of.
Anyone else's thoughts on the route from Málaga? Alternatively I could head to Guadix where I walked to in September, and keep walking from there. Anyone done both?
Hi, I'm arriving in Málaga tomorrow and walking from there on Tuesday morning. Is there anywhere which has a breakdown of the sections and Albergues after Malaga. I'm thinking more about me being a bit out of shape and if I can do some shorter 10-15 km days for the first couple of days that...
Thanks for the suggestion C, so helpful. Inma from the association met us with the credencials and was so kind and helpful with all her information. She even drove us up to the cathedral and castle and seaside so we wouldn't miss it as we were only there one evening.
Hi there I'm just about to start walking the Camino from Almeria on Monday but I just found out that the associations
In Malaga and Almeria is closed today and tomorrow does anyone know where else I can get them from please? And also would it be the same credential from both places? Or does each...
Hello. A couple of questions please if anyone can help:
- has anyone walked from Almeria in early September, I'm guessing it'll still be hot, but not impossible - I hope?
- What is it like starting instead from Malaga?
Many thanks, P
Hi Kevin, thanks for your helpful booklet I downloaded. Myself and 3 friends are thinking about walking it in September. Have you done it in that month? Is there any break down anywhere of the stages with an albergue, accommodation each night, walking say 20 - 25 km a day? If so, I'd be very...
