    Best Sections of the Coastal Route from Porto

    For me, the best section of the Coastal route was the Spiritual Variant, from Pontevedra to Padron. That is not a weeks worth of foot travel on its own, but I would go back for that section all over again! And you could start back in Vigo or Nigran depending on the distance you want to cover.

    I'm confused. In 2015, I cycled the Camino Frances and saw many pilgrims with a shell on their packs. And we picked up shells in Pamplona to get into the spirit. Is the Portuguese Camino not the same? Or is this just one person's opinion about the "right" way to do a Camino?
