I used my Keen Targhee mid boots for both the CF and recent CP Coastal. IMHO Boots are not needed for CP Coastal and/or the Spiritual. The only place that is rocky is going to Armenteria.

Noel and Annie - please keep posting. I step off from Porto on 22 May and hope to stay on the Coastal route, then over to the Spiritual route before getting to Santiago on 3 June.
ICBWB- I'm doing this same route, stepping off in Porto on 22 May and arriving SDC on 3 June. I booked hotels and luggage transport with Walk the Camino and will carry a day pack. Leave me clues along the way!
