Coastal: Places to Stay
Hi we did the coastal route in June 2013. We started from Porto airport where we stayed in a private hostel for 14 euros including breakfast. It is highly recommended. The next evening we stayed in Vila do Conde but I do not believe that there is a hostel there but the tourist information office...- daimarlow

Thanks Miguel and Johnnie. Looks like the most difficult part is finding somewhere to stay on the Portuguese part of the coastal walk. We might have to resort to taking a tent but obviously would like to avoid the weight. We are doing research into accommodation if anyone has any ideas these...- daimarlow

Thanks Miguel if the metro goes straight to Villa de Conde it could be a good option. I will try to find some information. We do not need to go into Porto as we will be staying there on our return journey. Hope the coastal route is ok as the three of us travelling have a joint age of 205 we have...- daimarlow

The airport at Porto looks near to the Camino. Does anyone know if there a way of getting onto the Camino without going back to the city of Porto.- daimarlow
