The Way: how do you feel about THE movie?

Thank you for that. I'm not a movie buff but I do love movies, The Way in particular. I have seen the movie dozens of times but I just never get enough of it. I did see some interviews with Martin, and found out I like his personality and I didn't know I would. Renee might have been mentioned...

The Way: how do you feel about THE movie?

The daughter to Martin is "Doreen" in The Way. Now when I watch the movie the character Tom has a daughter because I'm easily confused. ;)😂

    A day on my Camino…

You were fully in the moment (in the now). Not contemplating the past or the future, you were in each step alive in happiness (bliss, contentment, satisfaction). I am at my best when I am living fully in the moment.

    Snacks after Jaw Surgery

Oatmeal, add hot water. Rolled oats are already steamed and ready to eat, they don't need to be cooked. Carry the dry oats and add water, maybe add some canned peaches. Those things are all soft.

Garbanzo beans are so much better in Spain

Fava and lima beans are related. They belong to the Fabaceae family, including fava beans, lentils, and peanuts. I've made lima beans the biggest ones I could find, took the peels off of those. The liquid that they cook in becomes velvetty smooth, really nice for a soup.

Garbanzo beans are so much better in Spain

Haba beans refers to peeled fava beans, or it can refer to unpeeled fava beans. Fava are from the pea family. They are considered a broad bean. Alubia refers to the generic beans, so alubia pinto or alubia black, pinto or black beans. To prepare: Soak dry fava beans overnight OR cook in fresh...

Garbanzo beans are so much better in Spain

Fava beans are very large, white, and kidney shaped, usually with a skin that gets removed after the first boil. This is our first year growing them, so we haven't enjoyed them yet. (WI-USA)

    Miracles of the Camino?

In religious or spiritual ways, the Holy Spirit, or a Spirit Guide, or the Universe, all open to love (kindness), have spoken through you at those points. The state of mind, not thinking but of just being/living in the moment in the present, being open to all that is good and true, it flows...

How to get my parents permission to go?

Are you funding your trip on your own or do you need their help financially? You've said: "And I do not have a personality to go without their permission…They trust me and I do not want to ruin it and carry all the consequences" What are the consequences based on your past experience? General...

Cooking for Vegans: Easy and Delicious Recipes and Tips

I think it would be very nice to have sugar/honey/maple syrup, oil, salt, pepper, vinegars, lemon juice, soy sauce, condiments-?, and plant milk available, near or at the table. (that is what one of my kitchen counters has on it!) The reason many vegetarian/vegan/whole food plant based diets...

Cooking for Vegans: Easy and Delicious Recipes and Tips

This is one of my favorite vegan (actually whole food plant based) recipes. (vegan - oreos - processed food leaves you with WFPB) Greek Lentil and spinach Soup with lemon (though it is thick so maybe a Stew or add more water). It takes about an hour to make and it makes a lot, holds well in the...

    Just between us girls

I appreciate your knowledge of chemistry and thank you for sharing what you shared. What is the ph difference between say, for instance, the most ph neutral soap and the most ph neutral detergent? (not that neutral is closest to skin or hair) Or does the ph cross the central point with both...

    Just between us girls

Okay Lush shampoo bars are not soap, if you say that I'll take that at face value. Why are detergent bars better for your hair? I would like to understand.
