I have done three individual weeks on the Camino over the last year. Two with a good mate and one on my own. Admittedly my experience of individual weeks might be totally different from someone doing a 5 week stint. I did the research and gave it a couple of night's sleep and decided to land in Bilbao, make my way to Portugalete and walk from there on the Monday morning and see where I ended up by foot, train or bus! At home now, and how crazy have I become?
I am seriously considering getting a can of yellow paint and doing little arrows showing me the way to the bin/the clothes line/the garden shed!
