Re: missing songbirds: I thought the large plantings of Eucalyptus trees in Spain were one cause. Their resin causes the demise of birds. Domestic cats are another threat and possibly the huge decrease in insects is another. Fifty years ago, here in Canada, if you drove through the prairies...- Ihor
