On my first Camino which my brother and I completed in 30 days, we managed 3 sit-down rest periods every 8km, one of them being lunch. No major feet problems at all, despite my 72 years on this earth's feet!

On the Te Araroa trail here in New Zealand, I tended to have a half an hour rest after 8/9 kms. Then another hour for lunch after a similar distance, completing the day's hike an hour of two later.
With the Camino, I will probably be able to rest every two hours as the terrain/track condition...
