Budget option is Nature Hike cloud up 1 or 2
when I say budget, it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than Zpacks etc, heavier but not too much and works well
my real question is “is this for the Spain Camino“ ? If so, why take a tent because organised camping is sporadic and relatively expensive, wild...
Read this and immediately (and somewhat worryingly) thought of ….
O Cebreiro, where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain
And the wavin' wheat can sure smell sweet
When the wind comes right behind the rain.
sad but then …
I’d be happy to meet you and I’d also be the first to offer what support I could were you to feel in danger.
even if that meant my carefully planned “schedule” now meant nothing
I’m not offended but I attempted to actually reference the OP.

i understand or at least suspected the issue, hence the research in the first place. I’m not sure I’d want to be disturbed myself by some of the modern “rad/sick“ thrill mongers (or whatever they call things)...
I have to say this whole thread has unnerved me a lot.
I live half way across the French Le Puy route and have long been drawn to do this journey. I’ve helped and continue to help out pilgrims passing our way. Due to life, I have planned to complete the route from Le Puy to Saint Jean this year...
