Saw this and thought it would serve the purpose of explaining why all this walking we love to do is so important!

I'm only a part-time, and only recently walking the Camino. However, I was hooked in the late 90s when my mum bought me Paulo Coelho's The Pilgrimage. Lately, though, I have been looking for more descriptive than fictional accounts. I found this fascinating book in Barter Books in Alnwick...
....ah, the joy of occasionally staying somewhere that provides a towel; shower in the evening and the morning. Amazing what a little deprivation can do to your sense of appreciation!!

What a truly different Camino experience we are having in our third installment ... rain, wind and snow. When the sun comes out it is lovely, but it has been rare. Prepared for the rain ... it's the lower temperatures that have caught us out. Thankfully the warmth of welcome by fellow...
Many thanks for the information. Do you need to be travelling in January or can they be booked for any time of the year but purchased at sale price in January? If I were using this it would probably be April. Thanks
