Clothes dryer etiquette
I've done this in hostels, and I'd do it in an albergue. Dryers are a shared resource and it's up to them to free it up for the next person Any reasonable person won't mind you doing this.- Tartrazine

Do top bunks stop bed bugs?
Not sure having been savaged by bedbugs recently on the Norte makes me an expert, but for what it's worth a comment about people wrapping their stuff separately.
