Dear Northern Laurie, thank you for your intimate, moving, poetic, and philosophical post-Camino reflection. Your experience in the Church in Guernica brings to mind Picasso's black and white painting entitled "Guernica" - one of the very few black and white works of his, and for a good reason.
I am not tech savy, so please help me how to download the app maps.me, and the map of the area from Santo Domingo de Silos to Burgos. Also, how can I get the right .kmz file and load it into the app? Thank you so much.
Most timely posting, Viranani.
In September I did the Via de la Plata from Ourense (to honor my 80th birthday). Last year I did the Camino Ingles from Ferrol. The year before it was the Camino Portuguese, inland. Now I keep dreaming about where to go next September or October. I'd welcome...
SYates, please could you provide more details about the "Ecumenical Pilgrim Way" in Germany: where does it start, where does it end, and how do I get more information?
Thanks.
