I walked alone the entire Frances from SJPP to Finnesterre. It was great. No compromises. You do what you want to do. Somedays, I would walk further when I felt like I could.
I walked the Camno Frances last year and also blogged using Wordpress. I found internet available somewhere (albergue, internet cafe, bar, bakery, etc.) alomost every day.

I purchased a twin (bunk) sized fitted sheet and very light weight top sheeet and a pillow case and spayed them (along with my backpack) with permethrin before I left. It worked great. I did not have any trouble with bedbugs while I ran across many who did at the same place I stayed.

I started walking from SJPP on Sep 15 last year and walked to SDC and on to Muxia and FInisterre. My blog has daily entries as well as planning entries with my complete packing list and at the end my thoughts and recomendations on every albergue I stayed at.
