Honestly take what you need for the day. Many are off / broken for whatever reason and can’t be relied upon. And seriously go early and try to finish by 1pm or 2pm.- skevin

Friendly reminder its heating up again- next week high 30s in Galicia. A few very tired pilgrims last couple of days and , surprisingly, a lack of fuentes since Sarria. Stay safe people. Go well.- skevin

Route suggestions once you've done all the obvious caminos?
Yes - I didn’t end up staying with Ray and Rosa but they helped me a couple of time via WhatsApp with accomodation. Both legends. Gronze has everything you need really. I found the signage 9/10. Route suggestions once you've done all the obvious caminos?
Generally it has been just me - sometimes one other or a couple of cyclists. No albergues from Madrid to Segovia but sufficient and affordable hostels. Excellent network of municipal albergues after. I’m on the Madrid at the moment - fancy high quality €5 albergue la all to yourself? It’s a very flat walk through agricultural farmland, mainly. No shade. Having a hard time adjusting to French route after Madrid route
Hey Robin - I walked from Manzanares to Cercedilla today. Was tough!! There was a mountain bike event on - hundred and hundreds all through the trail.
