Using Trekking Poles
I presume you mean Leki Makalu poles? If so, I find them a nice pole, very comfortable to use and fold down nicely. I'd have no hesitation recommending them.- Daddyfrog

Peregrina bitten by snake near Lintzoain
Walking the Norte in 2019 we saw two snakes, each about 30cm long, although I have a strong suspicion that one of them was a legless lizard! As Aussies, we have a strong startle reaction to snakes, but when we saw they were tiny, we watched happily as these beautiful creatures went on their way.- Daddyfrog
