I can now proudly add my own mother to this illustrious list. Aged 85, she walked 130kms of CF over 6 days (Astorga-Sarria) in early June 2018. Highlight stays for her were Rabanal (CSJ) and Trabadelo (Suzi’s place), but it was all good, and a privilege to be able to walk beside her.
We met the most delightful australien lady on the Camino last October. "Only" 75 but recovering from a stroke which I thought was most impressive. Walked with a large stick, at her own pace, and even made time to have her hair done. Standards need to be maintained!
