Hi Angela,
I walked from SJPdP in Sept-Oct 2009 and used my down sleeping bag most nights. I live in Queensland, Australia and wouldn't dream of walking anywhere in Europe without it. The one time that I was too lazy to get it out and used the alburgue's blankets instead I got bed bugs!

Hola Healthytoo,
We are neighbours - we live at Pomona. Mike (husband) and I walked JPDP to Santiago in Sept/Oct 2009 while in our very late 50's. I am planning the Camino del Norte for 2014.
Feel free to contact if you'd like at jackidufty@hotmail.com
Buen Camino, Jacki.
Lightening Bolt Moment, thankyou Jeff001. I walked the Camino Frances with my husband and am planning the Camino del Norte on my own - have just realized why!
My main problem since finishing the Camino Frances last October is that I am still addicted to this forum and my heart aches to go back and walk another Camino.
Jacki.
(My husband, who walked with me, and I are still together!)
Hello Anne,
We arrived in Santiago on 11th Oct. Back in Australia I have been sorting my photos. I have a photo of the cross, his name was Jean-Paul. This photo has taken on a whole new meaning.
Jacki.
Hi Lillian,
We'll see you at Orisson on the 6th. We booked some time ago and have beds but I think the tent would be lovely.
We fly (from Gladstone, Queensland, Australia) tomorrow and are staying at L'Espirit on Sat. night.
Safe travelling and I'll meet you soon.
Jacki.
