Thanks everyone, I have always been double socking, boots were perfect until the orthotics . Have been draining the blisters but obviously they can't breathe in my boots. Current plan is I walk alternate days possibly, so rest, walk, rest, walk, walk. I am happy with what I have achieved/...

    Giving in and doing

You definitely won't fail, you are not being marked on how you go. I am about to take a taxi up O'Cebrerio due to nasty blisters. I choose to do this so I can continue on (fingers crossed) for the rest of the walk, I am not failing, coming up short or cheating as far as I am concerned. I have...

    Hotels vs Albergues

We are going Hotel, Pension and the like. I just knew communal dossing was not going to make a happy camper out of this introvert, especially when tired and sore. Hubby going with the flow (he likes comfort and space as well). 2 weeks and counting.

    Warm welcome?

I wish I could run, from one introvert to another I say go for it. It is your time to do as you want don't change how you want to do it.
