    Apparently moleskin might be a North American item. It can be cut to surround a blister, adding protection. Compeed works well on hot spots. Vaseline can be used to lubricate the feet. Just pay attention if your feet develop sore or hot spots. I ended up changing my socks every 2 hours or so to...

    to all of you who cannot part with your perfume - please go gently - those of us who are sensitive to scents appreciate that! I ran into someone who must have taken a bath in hers and couldn't breathe well for hours. :(

    Someone suggested to me that gloves were not needed if I had spare socks to cover my hands in the morning. I ended up needing neither but thought it good advice.
