Sleeping outside?
Yes! To avoid snorrers-i do sleep outside the albergues sometimes- in my experience it is great to sleep under the stars!- Mailo

Thinking of doing Frances - Salvador - Primitvo
Go for it!!! Is my humble advise :). Did the Frances, Norte/ Primitivo and the San Salvador but all seperatetely- however did meet plenty of people who came from alternative routes (there are many more :) should you be interested and I am sure others could tell you more about. @timr when did you walk from lugo to sobrado dos monxes? And was it not too difficult to find the way? Tried this route 2 years ago and got so lost on the first day- nevertheless still very much loved it! And yes also met the barking dogs:).- Mailo

Anyone Tenting?
In 2013 walked the camino del norte and primitivo. At some point I decided to sleep outside- when there was a garden next to the albergue, to avoid the snorrers :). Slept on a mat and had my sleeping bag- and this was great (would still pay of course for the Albergue). In this way there was also...- Mailo
