I am currently walking (started this year in Burgos) and the albergue owners and workers are already saturated so please if you are walking be patient and understand their side. Also, some have told me that there are less workers.
We are soon staying in Boadilla. Is Carrion de Condes worth a full day or night stop? (We will be very close the night before) I am reading about sharing song and food with the nuns. Has anyone done this? What are the other must spend time places heading into Leon? Would love your input.
I am picking up where I stopped last summer, in lovely Burgos, in late April, maybe for 2 nights to ease in and deal with jet lag. Any recommendations on places to stay? Comfy and pilgrim friendly? Thank you!
Oh, I thought that heat wave started in June (when I left last year). Hey, you are in SF, I am up north in Mendocino. Let me know if there is a group of camino folks in the Bay area, would be fun to meet up.
