I personally would want to start at st Jean. I walked at 75 years old and bussed the Meseta from Burgos to Leon. Did it in 31 days. Just go and watch the dates. Bus a section if you have to. No need to have it set in cement! Camino provides.
Arrived in sjpp, no bookings, knowing nothing but a few shops down from pilgrims office saw place to send bag on to Santiago. Sent it to hotel la salle. They kept it till I arrived. Discount on the room. Walking distance to cathedral. From memory I think

I thought I had bought enough souvenirs, especially the “cheap” bracelets from stalls but on my return, family and friends wanted them so i was left with very few. Does anyone know where I could buy more. I have bought from Etsy and Ivar but they are the expensive ones. Thanks Carol

Any ideas on where to stay in Barcelona for 2 nights before starting camino. Taking the early train to Pamplona so should we stay near the station or in centre of town for sightseeing. Thanks.
