    Burgos bus station at night

    I once spent the night in the Burgos station. I got there before it was locked for the night so spent hours inside waiting for my bus which left in the wee hours. There were a few others as well. The security came around and told me I couldn't stretch out but otherwise it was alright.

    I remember seeing that Tom Petty quote written in big letters in a shelter also in 2016 and I believe it was climbing the trail up the hill to the Cruz de Ferro. I can't recall the quote right now but I knew/know the song being a Tom Petty fan.

    I predominately sleep outside with the occasional refugio to take advantage of what they offer. Set up late as secluded as possible, no fires & leave before dawn. No problem other than bathing issues.
