Nothing really mate. I’ve been twice now and it’s actually all straight forward. Only concern I had was walking out of Lisbon and thought ‘what if I get injured’ as no one else was around.
Relax, have fun, enjoy. And take care of those feet.
Take your time, pack super super super super super light, and most of all, be prepared for some setbacks. I’d also say lookup and enjoy the scenery, something I regret not doing more.
Good for you ! There are people in all shapes and sizes on the Camino: older, younger, obese, underweight, gay, straight, non binary, religious, atheist, you name it.
You go and be your best self.
Pack light as can be - you don’t need much really.

When I started in SJPP they kindly gave that large paper list of accom - was so useful.But I lost in somewhere during the 50 gazillion kms and 76 flights to get back to Australia.
Anyone point me to a copy of this online or on this forum?

Those people that drink the global brand of cola, always with a single use plastic straw..... unforgivable.
So, so, so hard. Environmental concerns rate rather low on most peoples radar, the Camino no exception. Honestly the rubbish drove me mad on CF. It tainted my experience somewhat ( although heading off on Camino Portuguese in 2 weeks time)...
It would be preferable if some alburgue owners took...
Not really - single use plastics should not be placed in general rubbish bins. They can be recycled with other plastics.
If placed in general trash they end up in landfill.
Hi. I’d like to make a comment about the use and disposal of single use plastics on the CF. I was horrified beyond words about a) waste in general, particularly toilet paper and b) single use plastic bags and littering.
