I use Leki Carbon and love them...but sticks are like shoes, half is what you get used to...

Where to stay the night before Santiago....?

I stayed there on my first Camino and it was with probably 10 people I was close to along the Way, so it was great. It is sterile as Albergues go, but with the right people it was just right, especially for the first entry to Santiago and all day to enjoy.

If you have/are walking this summer... Would you do it again, knowing the restrictions/challenges?

In the US this Feast day will be celebrated on Sunday 8 May, rather than the actual day of Thursday 5 May. I may be in Santiago around this time after completing the Camino. Does anyone know when it will be celebrated in Spain? Thank you

    April: Astorga to Finisterre

I plan to return to Astorga in April to complete the Camino. I think April will not be a busy time and that it should be easy to find rooms in popular Albergues without too much trouble. Is that correct? And I assume it will be quite cool for most of the walk. Is that correct? Anything else I...
