This is great! So glad you asked for "roll call" :-) !
I'll start the CF,at the beginning of Sept, go to Logrono & up to Bilbao and experience del Norte, then take a walk on the Primativo and into Santiago. Muxia & Finisterre will get squeezed in there, too. :)
The polar vortex has been the subject of recent chatter among meteorologists this week after it split.
In short, there are now two smaller vortices: one over western Canada and another over Europe. Across the Arctic, where the polar vortex typically stays locked, the stratosphere has warmed...
Thanks Barb.
... I'm torn... I just found a pair of collapsible poles for $40. Not sure if it's a good brand, CAMP from Italy but ill check it out.
Hmmmm...
Yeah, sounds fun!
I'll definitely be considering the length and time I'll need.
Regarding the CF, I had it figured out...with lots of extra days for whatever I didn't figure!
I haven't booked my return flight...so glad for that. Who knows what that will be! :)
I just thought about this- haven't taken the time to think it through...anyone mix paths?
I'm thinking about a St. Jean start, Longrono (I think) to Bilbao to pick up the Norte route, then the Primativo to the last bit of Frances into Santiago. This would be in Sept and a week or so in Oct but...
Yeah...sounds like you're talking about health insurance for the trip. I'm planning on that. But I was asking the OP, and anyone really, if they get the travel/flight insurance when purchasing plane tix? It's usually like $20 at time of plane ticket purchase.
Anyone?
Right on!
I'm planning a Sept walk but I don't feel it's really happening until that ticket is purchased. So excited for you!
Did you buy travel insurance ...incase you have to change or cancel plans? I'm wondering about that...
