    We left the same day in 2023! While the town was booked solid I expected a drove of pilgrims setting out in the morning but that was not the case at all. Helpful to remember the days get shorter. It was a bit surprising to start at 8am in the dark.

    I had reached out to places to stay in St. Jean for late summer 2023 as well and received replies. They said they don't take reservations that far in advance. They asked me to contact them again in April 2023.
