I'm meeting friends in Burgos in May to walk to S de C and have 7 days before they arrive. I'd love any thoughts or suggestions whether to begin from SJPDP to Logrono or skip that section and begin my walk from Logrono.
I walked the Le Puy route last year and finished in SJPDP...
I returned home last week from SJPDP and noticed a few gites / albergues are closed for the season. I too stayed at Maison Errecaldia and couldn't recommend it highly enough. Tim is an excellent host.
I sympathise with you Sarah The exact thing has happened to me. Yesterday I had an operation to pin my thumb which was the same day I was meant to fly out. My Le-Py camino has been postponed for 10 days and my surgeon is quite happy for me to go. I plan on using one pole initially.
