I have walked along the Camino Frances five times and have never been turned away from an albergue. This may be because I usually stop walking by midday. Occasionally I walk in the late afternoon and on those days I phone ahead and reserve a bed in a private albergue. If you get to Roncevalles...
Thank you for your reply. I am still not clear!
Does this rule apply if I move Albergue? So if I sat in Emmaus the first night can I stay in he municipal on the second night?
I would like to stay two nights in Burgos while walking the Camino. If I stay one night in Albergue Emmaus would i be allowed stay my second night in the municipal albergue?
Hi
For my first time on Camino I flew Dublin to Biarritz and flew home to Dublin from Bilbao. You will probably make it to Logrona allowing for a rest day. It is easy to bus from Logrona back to Bilbao. You will love Camino
i landed in terminal 1 in Madrid & took the airport bus to terminal 4. Alsa buses depart from the ground floor. I had prebooked my bus seat online. The bus journey was pleasant, I arrived in Burgos at 4pm, had some food and then walked the 10km to Tarjados. I had booked a bed in La Casa Beli there.

I will be walking from Leon and am undecided about which route to take from Virgin del Camino.
The direct route is to Villadangos del Paramo. The longer but quieter route is to Mazarife. Which should I take?
We are walking from Burgos in July and planning to arrive in Santiago about 20th.
I have heard that the cathedral in Santiago is shut for renovations at present.
Does anyone know when it will reopen for the pilgrim mass?
We are walking from Burgos to Leon in July and wondered how hot it will be in the afternoon. We plan to start walking early and then rest at lunch. is it practical to start walking again at 3pm or would it be too hot?
I walked from SJDPP to Viana last July. It rained when we were crossing the mountains. We arrived wet and cold into Roncevalles and they didn't provide blankets! After that it was very warm and we coped by walking in the early mornings, starting at 6am so we were at our destination before...
Does anyone know if there is a shared taxi service from Bilbao airport to Logrona? =Similar to the service we used last year run by Caroline to get from Biarritz to SJDPP
