    No walking experience - have just decided to go - tomorrow. Help

    you are 60 years old lady without experience, and want to walk 700 km without excercises?! I'm 77, made some excersices, make my 1st camino only 110 km, from Valenca, on 8 April. When and if it work good, and God will help, i'll do the Frances next year.

    = my son (50) heard I have plans, and immediatly said "I'm going with you". I did'nt ask him to come with me because I know he is very busy. May be he remembers our walking in the Samaria and other gorges in Crete some years ago.

    = = Thanks, it looks that the Portugese is flatter, that mean easier for my old body. More than that, I think of walking half stages, not more than 10 km a day. Shall I find places to sleep in such intervals, no matter which kind? Zohar

    Thank you Icacos, I think that is something else if I have a companion from the first day during all the camino, which will be in a way "obliged" (since I'm in good health physically and mentally , but 77). In exchange my companion will be my guest in my room in hotels (2-3*) and I pay for meals...
