too much worries , I've walked with elderly Spanish ladies who did not breathe much between words ,
good God can they talk ....but they certainly can walk
anyone can do it and does , just cruise easy , it's not a test , it's a cruise
wet shoes were not much of a problem , as long as you have dry socks ,
after ten minutes they are wet and warm , if it's dry they will dry , if it's wet weather , well what's the difference !
but DO take a pair of soft slippers to wear after the walk or around town ,
get some looking ok and not...

pretty much everybody take the steep descent , there is another way but it is so easy to miss
the climb at the iron cross is an easy to climb but a bastard to go down too
There was a 17 year old Brazilian girl , she was everyone little sister ,
except every night when her worried mother phoned her , blisfully unaware of the time difference

Walked in October ..november , it was magnificent , a lot of fog in the valleys , the ridges were like islands ,it lifted mid morning
no crowds , plenty of space in the alberges ,the cafes were not crowded and we knew pretty much everybody by the end ,
no hot days , a couple of rainy ones and...
there also is the addictive problem of blowing the breeze with perfect fellows strangers while guzzling cheap red wine
P.S. bring your own cork screw , the closer you get to Santiago , the more miserable the kitchen gear get
