You're all so lovely! Thank you! I ended up finding a photo after all...I thought that I'd deleted this thread so I wouldn't waste anyone's time, but it looks like it's still here after all. Oops! Sorry about that!
Your photos are gorgeous. Thank you so much for the Sunday morning inspiration!
Hello! I'm planning a camino in March. I've been obsessively reading the posts here ever since we decided we were going earlier this year.
Anyway, one of my BIG projects is learning Spanish. I've got it in my head that I want to be functional by next March. I'm starting a blog about learning...
Thank you all very much for the quick replies! I'm buying the Brierley guide, but I'm leaning towards just reading it at home, and then leaving it behind. I'll definitely look at the links. And I like to idea of making my own "guidebook" by jotting some info down in the back of my journal.

I'll be walking in March and April of next year. I'm very optimistic about the weather! I'm hoping that this year used up the bulk of next year's winter. Ha!
"I carry 1 roll of biodegradable toilet paper."
I agree with this. No matter where I travel, I always bring a half-roll of toilet paper! You never know when you're going to need it.
But remember to leave no trace and carry it out with you too! I've never been on the camino before, but as a...
I watched the whole thing. Yes, it's a pretty amateur video. And he was pretty stupid at the beginning. But overall, I found him a very likeable guy. People learn from their mistakes...and hopefully he understands how terrible his decisions were - both for him and for the people who may have had...
I work contracts. In some ways it's not ideal, since I don't get any paid holidays, but my work is really flexible. I can take all the time I want...so long as I can finance the time myself. I'll stop working, and then pick up where I left off when I get home. From now until next Spring, I'm...
