    I am currently in SJPP. I see that valcarlos only has 24 beds, lots of pilgrims arrived today so hopefully everybody will safely get a bed somewhere tomorrow!

    I may spend a few nights in SJPP depending. I also heard valcarlos has had landslide so is mostly road walking now. Any camino is a good camino 🤷🏻‍♀️

    I was definitely going to the pilgrim office, I’ve done enough hiking to have common sense about me thankfully. I value my life and I always err on the side of caution when I climb the mountains here. I just love the irony of life having weeks of +15 degree days then BAM 30cm of snow 😆

    Did you find albergues were open? Covid aside, I saw a comment a few weeks ago that stated that most albergues shut down for the season in October. This is when I plan to go unless restrictions change and it will then be 2022 :) thank you 🙏🏼

    I know, I think I’ll be bringing my dog mace 😂 I love dogs but doesn’t mean I want to feel on edge walking through every village. I’ll never do the Lycean Way walk in Turkey due to the packs of stray dogs you meet there
