Hi, I finished central route Porto to Santiago on Monday... and it’s been fab. The albergues were busy as I believe sept is a busy month for the Portugués Way, but only twice did I really struggle for accommodation, and had to pay for a nice hotel. Busy camino
I agree... my first Camino and also on central route. I can’t get over the busyness! Just at Pontevedra today, and treating myself to a hotel purely for some peace to reflect. Lots of pilgrims booking ahead to get beds, but that just doesn’t suit me as my Camino needs to go at the pace it needs...- KateMarshall
