Advise to the beginner
Hi, wouldn't get to worked up about it. Am 66 did the central Portuguese in March 2019 on my own from Lisbon to SdC without hassles. Felt quite comfortable at the end so continued on and did Muxia and Finisterre to complete the journey. Caught the bus from Finisterre back to SdC only because...- PeterM

good resting spot en route?
Actually I would second this. I stayed at this alburgue and did not find it appealing. Why, well found the reception lady quite abrupt and I thought unnecessarily so, showers could not keep up and the whole layout just did not appeal. We all have our own thoughts and likes/dislikes and...- PeterM

CP Rest Day?
My vote is Ponte de LIma. I did the CP in March/April 2019 form Lisbon to SDC and had a rest day at Ponte de Lima. Thoroughly enjoyed the rest day, a beautiful and relaxing town. Your choice 😃 but you have my vote. Cheers- PeterM
