Thanks everyone for your advice. I’ve decided to do both: stay in Padron to explore, the next day instead of going into SdC I’m staying in Milladoiro just a few km outside so I can walk in the next morning all refreshed and still get to pilgrims mass
After taking the boat on Espiritual, I’m trying to decide if I should stay in Padron or keep going? I’m kind of leaning towards staying closer to SdC so we can attend pilgrim mass next day, I think it’s 11 or noon…but I’ve been already 3x and maybe Padron is worth spending time in? Not a life...
I had considered staying here and they quoted a rate of 66e including breakfast. It looks like a nice place but I wanted to attend the vespers at the monastery so made other arrangements
I am also starting in Porto, plan on a hybrid trip, a bit of Litoral, then coastal, then cut across to central from Caminha, and then the espititu. I am starting May 15, and my plan is the same as Rainswift for the 4 days of espiritu. Bom Caminho!
Robo I’m not sure, I wasn’t planning on any more Caminos until a friend just did the CP in September. It seems a bit easier for my knees and is now calling my name…
