Can I be a nosey- Rosey? What are you planning for them? I really want to redo the walkway to my house and thought it would be fun to use a few in the design. Then I keep going back and forth on whether to have them lead towards or away from my house.
I haven't yet, but am considering it or maybe the Lana for my next one. Those pictures look amazing. How are the deportivos? So wonderful you got your camera back. If you don't think 3 peregrinos is deserted, I bet you have done some lonely ones!
Welcome! 3 weeks is a good amount of time. I'm not sure which or if there is a best Camino. Do you want to meet lots of pilgrims or maybe a less traveled path? It will depend on your tastes. What are you looking for?
Welcome to the forum! I'll try to answer a few.
As for starting points, I suggest just doing the math and being honest with your current fitness. (And if you are like me then minus a few km per day, I am overly hopeful in how my body will hold up).
2. I just stayed in the muni albergue kinda...
Bought my plane tickets for mid sept to mid Oct! This is the farthest out I have ever bought tickets, its both exciting and scary as a lot can happen before then. I was hoping to do the Levante but don't have enough time to do it with distances I am comfortable with. Right now leaning towards...
On my first Camino, I met a pilgrim who had a bagpipe! It was fun to hear him play, and I think most others also appreciated it. I think as long as you are not playing in the middle of bunks at night, most people would enjoy it. There is actually quite a bit down time on camino, so if you are...
Welcome to the board! How exciting to be so close to your start day. I am not sure what route you are planning but personally I find that items that can be layered work best for the invariably changing weather.
Hi,
I'm walking from sevilla this time. But I went from sjpp about the same time before it will be gorgeous! Is this your first camino? Maybe we shall meet in Santiago or finesterra, that would be lovely.
Welcome to the forum! Yes, the camino is much different than hiking solo here out west. It's great though. If you do want some alone time I would suggest leaving later in the morning, I did that on some days and was able to have the trail to myself for a bit. The wild flowers are stunning that...
Thanks, I will definitely try to take a rest day there, or maybe a very short day as I am a bit concerned with getting to Santiago before my return flight home. Did you stop at italica?
Thanks for encouragement . I've been reading posts and it seems last year was a bit cold so I shall be hoping for warmer weather. I'm also looking forward to the Roman ruins. It just seems so far away right now!

It's a year later then I hoped but I just bought my tickets to Spain! I found a good deal and decided to commit to it now. I will be leaving sevilla the weekend of April 25-26 or so. Would love to hear from anyone who else may be around at that time.(I checked the calendar but didn't see any...
