You've picked a good time of year to do it - I began walking from St Jean on 21 September last year and the weather was quite warm. I didn't encounter any significant rain for the first two and a half weeks, so hopefully you will be blessed with similar weather. Buen Camino!- Adhemar78

Hi Katrina, As others have mentioned in this thread, to get from Paris to SJPP you get the train from Montparnasse Station to Bayonne (which takes about five hours direct) and then get a train to SJPP from Bayonne.
