I'm planning to leave from Vancouver, Canada at the last week of July to walk the two weeks Porto to Santiago. I'm not sure if I should book a flight and land in Madrid then take a train to Porto, Portugal. Or have a direct flight to Porto. What would be the best way????
Not sure if I will make it to those. Just got to my hotel and the jet lag is getting me fierce. I will just get some food and rest up I have an early train to Bayonne. Then I have to figure out what bus to take to St. Jean Pied de Port because the trains are still closed due to landslide. Any...
I worked pretty hard this year and decided to document my work on planning my Camino Francés trip. In doing so I found my passion for travel with hiking and revitalized my love of writing. Please check out my Blog and let me know how it looks. I'm leaving in just 21 days and I'm excited to start...

Ok. That explains the problem booking trains to SJPDP. The bus now seems like a good option. Are there any sites I can look into to so that I can book ahead, I like to have my stuff handled before I go. Less stress. Another question I looked up plane and train rides to bayonne difference is...

Wowzers,
I really hope there's not a strike. I haven't bought my ticket to PAU Yet, but the tickets are way cheap to get to sjpdp from there rather then going to orly and flying out to bayonne. Then train ride to sjpdp. The only thing is, is that I don't get into sjpdp until 10:30pm so now I...
Hello Catarina,
I'm 26.
I will be leaving the U.S. on August 1st from Vancouver international. Spending a night in Paris and taking another plane to PAU. Then taking a train to Sjpdp and hopefully starting my walk on August 4.
I wouldn't have gotten this far in my planning without this forum...
I have finally bought my tickets to Europe. Wasn't a bad price too.
I will be leaving Everett, Washington and I'm flying out via Vancouver Int. August 1st. Non stop round trip to Cdg.
Another flight to PAU from CDG August 3rd and a train ride to Sjpdp.
Some minor details still elude me...
